Total acquisition cost
The lowest car price isn’t always the best deal.
A lower vehicle price can look attractive, but the real cost goes beyond the sticker price. Insurance, financing, registration and other required expenses can significantly affect how much you actually pay.
How total acquisition cost is calculated

- Total acquisition cost
What you actually pay for.
Two quotations for the same car can split these costs very differently. Look at every line, not only the first one.
- 01
Car price
The vehicle price after any discount. The number most buyers focus on, and only one part of what you pay.
- 02
Insurance
The first-year premium. Coverage and pricing can differ a lot between dealer-arranged policies.
- 03
Financing charges
Interest and fees over the loan. A small difference in rate adds up over several years.
- 04
Registration and LTO fees
Required to put the car on the road. Usually similar, but worth checking line by line.
- 05
Other required charges
Documentation, handling or accessory packages a dealer requires as part of the deal.

For illustration only. Your numbers stay in your browser and aren’t sent to us. A fair comparison needs the same vehicle, variant and coverage.
It’s also how we measure your savings.
When you send us your dealer quotation, its total acquisition cost becomes the baseline. Every offer we find is compared against it, for an equivalent vehicle with the same make, model, variant and coverage.
If the qualifying savings don’t reach ₱15,000, we refund your ₱7,499 service fee.
